Southbank Sinfonia exists for its musicians: to ensure their safety, as well as that of our staff and audiences, we have have had to make some difficult decisions concerning COVID-19.
All orchestral activity is to be suspended until at least 1 May (previously 14 April), with the situation being reassessed on an ongoing basis. This includes all Rush Hour Concerts, our appearance at the London Handel Festival, and all Artist Development work. We will update you as the situation develops and are very grateful for your understanding and help in these testing times.
We are doing all we can to look after the wellbeing of our musicians and your support and encouragement has never been more vital.
Art brings people together, but sadly this is the very act we must abstain from. We will come together again, play together again, and experience the joy of music again.
