The Colourscape Collective is a brand new and adventurous ensemble, formed in late 2021 by five alumni of Southbank Sinfonia. Colourscape’s main aim is to challenge the norms of chamber music while still retaining a relevance to traditional music making. It’s repertoire focuses on exhilarating and accessible re-imaginings of popular and less known works. Through its unique instrumentation of Clarinet, Trumpet, Violin, Cello, and Double Bass Colourscape accesses a wide palate of colours resembling that of an orchestra on a far smaller scale.

Colourscape’s individual members all enjoy busy freelance careers playing with some of the finest Orchestras and ensembles across the  UK and Europe. Their high level of individual artistry and enthusiasm make Colourscape’s performances spirited and exciting musical affairs.
