It’s been a tough year for everyone and not least for the 33 graduates from across the globe who came together in February to form Southbank Sinfonia 2020.
But we’ve stayed connected, made the most of the opportunities for online music making and communication, and kept our focus on the moment when we can return to live music making.
From 15 September most members of Southbank Sinfonia will be rehearsing together again and we’re building a flexible programme of workshops, recordings and hopefully some performances which we will share with our treasured supporters who have helped make this a reality.
Without your generous support we would not have been able to rebound so quickly and take the financial risks involved with getting back up and running in these challenging times. We’re not out of the woods yet though, and further appeal donations will go directly towards making this autumn as inspiring and beneficial as possible for our musicians.
If you are not already a Friend of the orchestra, your ongoing contributions would help us plan ahead with confidence as we tackle the ever-evolving longer term challenges of the COVID crisis. You can read more and sign up here.
Donations can also be made by bank transfer using the account below. It is difficult for us to process cheques at this time, but if this is the most convenient way for you to contribute, please get in touch with Danielle at email@example.com or 020 3957 4129 and we can make arrangements for this.
