Alessandro graduated from the Achille Peri conservatoire in Reggio Emilia (Italy) after studying with professor Alessandro Ferrari. Here he took masterclassses with Ilya Grubert, Daniel Gaede, Oleksandr Semchuk and Mauro Rossi. He went to Poland as part of the Erasmus scheme and studied there with Pawel Radzinsky.
As a member of the Trio Gentilucci, Alessandro has studied with the Trio di Parma at the International Chamber Music School of the Trio di Trieste, as well as the renowned Scuola di Musica di Fiesole, where they were awarded the Alimondo Ciampi scholarship as best chamber group. Since then, they have won several prizes, including the Cittá di San Gemini, Carlo Mosso, Giulio Rospigliosi and they were invited to the Schaffausen Meisterkurse with teachers Ana Chumachenco, Wenn-Sinn Yang and Ivan Klansky.
Alessandro has performed in several orchestras, including the Symphonica Toscanini, Sinfonica di Roma, Orquesta de la Comunidad Valenciana, Orchestra Cherubini, Teatro Regio di Parma, Teatro Comunale di Bologna, Teatro Regio di Torino. He has had the opportunity to be conducted by great artists such as Lorin Maazel, Zubin Mehta, Riccardo Muti and Yuri Temirkanov.
In his free time, Alessandro likes to play football and chess.

What is your earliest musical memory?
My first music teacher playing with all kinds of things and instruments including glasses, dishes, desks and trash baskets.
What is your most embarrassing or amusing musical moment?
When in the second half of a concert I found my chair occupied and I had to sit in the other violin section!
