From Muffat to Mozart, 100 years of glorious Baroque music

Journey back to the golden age of music. In association with the London Handel Festival, Adrian Butterfield directs Southbank Sinfonia in a concert of Baroque gems. From the majestic fanfares of Telemann’s overture, to Rameau’s ‘Suite’ from Les Indes Galantes, these works explore the different rich musical styles and influences across Europe.

With historical performance an integral part of the Southbank Sinfonia experience, the players will be performing using historical practices, transforming into a working Baroque ensemble. The musicians will also be joined by winner of the 2023 International Handel Singing Competition, Florian Störtz.
