If music were food, imagine a night of tasting menus, eclectically serving up a variety of dishes to sample. Fill-up on three appetising 30 minute sets of chamber music, or mix and match multiple concerts around (actual) drinks and dinner.
The first set features a sextet and a septet written a century apart, but both inspired by classical roots: Janáček’s a “memory of youth” and Beethoven’s a response to Mozart.
