Anghiari Festival

Travelling to the Anghiari Festival

If travelling from the UK, the easiest way to reach Anghiari is to fly and hire a car. We strongly recommend that you have use of a car during the festival as concerts take place both in Anghiari and in neighbouring towns, typically within a 20 minute drive.

It is also possible to take a train from the airports listed below to the nearby town of Arezzo, and from there a bus or taxi to Anghiari.

By rail

The nearest station to Anghiari is in Arezzo. A bus service connects the two, taking approximately 30 minutes.

Most major Italian airports have rail connections, but please do check before you travel.

It is also possible to travel to the festival from the UK by train, taking a Eurostar to Paris, then an overnight or daytime train to Milan, and a final connection to Arezzo.

By road

It is just over 1,000 miles from London to Anghiari by road. A two-day journey can be broken very pleasantly with a stop by the French/Swiss border.

Once in Anghiari, the town has several car parks just outside the walled old town which are clearly signposted.
