SUPPORTING SOUTHBANK SINFONIA

Enthusiasm for Southbank Sinfonia from its earliest stages has been outstanding and far reaching, from the worlds of music, business, broadcasting, education and politics. But for the orchestra to be a reality this enthusiasm needs to translate into tangible practical and financial assistance.

Southbank Sinfonia must raise over £500,000 each year to support its aims. We are looking now for individuals, charitable bodies and businesses who support the arts, to fund the initial start-up period of 3 years, and beyond. We are confident that the project will be able to attract significant commercial and charitable funding in the longer term.

By funding Southbank Sinfonia you will be supporting some of the most talented musicians of today, helping to shape a new breed of inspirational performers and future role models, while extending music and musical passion to the broadest possible audiences.

FOUNDING PARTNER
As a new, creative and multi faceted enterprise we offer a special opportunity this year for associates - whether in business or the arts, as a foundation or in an individual capacity - to become founding partners. It is a chance to be involved, from the ground up, in something which will become a major force in Britain's musical landscape. There are many ways in which such a contribution can be recogised. Southbank Sinfonia could offer a wide range of benefits to Founding Partners.

ADOPT AN ENSEMBLE
By adopting a duo, a trio, a quartet or more, the giver will be enabling the players to participate in the programme and additionally encouraging and supporting chamber music, which is a crucial component of the programme. If the donor chooses, he or she will again be encouraged to take an interest in both the players and the ensemble, and will be able to engage the players together or individually for private events during the year.

ADOPT A PLAYER
By adopting a player you will be contributing in the most personal way. You will be providing one of the bursaries which are critical for these young players to participate in the programme. If the donor chooses, he or she will be encouraged to take a personal interest in the individual's development and future career.

PERFORMANCE PARTNER
Southbank Sinfonia's performing schedule includes appearances at prestigious major venues and festivals as well as in more intimate chamber music settings. We are looking for Performance Partners to support individual concerts, a concert series or a UK/European orchestral tour. In addition we are keen to attract funding for a commercial-quality recording to be made during the year. This will provide both a vital performing experience for the participants and an important marketing tool for future fundraising.
