“Southbank Sinfonia deserves all the support that we can give it. It's important because it's nurturing great talent and sustaining the British orchestral tradition, which is an exciting challenge.”

Why support SbS?

Through its dual role as an orchestra of outstanding young professionals and a pioneering orchestral academy, Southbank Sinfonia is increasingly acknowledged to be occupying a unique and important place in British musical life.

SbS receives no public funding and relies on the generosity of individuals, companies and trusts to meet its £650,000 annual operating costs. The donations of Southbank Sinfonia supporters are vital in enabling us to provide our varied programme of activity - artistic, developmental and educational.

By providing much-needed financial support to SbS you can enjoy knowing that you have supported some of today's most talented young musicians and helped to shape the professional orchestral musicians of tomorrow. At the same time, you will enable us to share our passion for music with the broadest possible audience.
