Programme

Southbank Sinfonia gives over 60 concerts each year. Events range from the free Rush Hour Series at the orchestra’s London home, St John’s Waterloo, and family concerts at Cadogan Hall, London, to appearances at festivals and major venues across the UK. And further afield, SbS runs its own 10-day festival each summer in the Tuscan hill-town of Anghiari, Italy.

Alongside orchestral concerts, the season includes schools’ workshops and concerts across Britain; chamber music recitals at the Royal Opera House and Wigmore Hall, London; and the chance for SbS players to perform a concerto with the orchestra.

In January and February 2010, SbS returns to the National Theatre for a revival of the highly-acclaimed production of Tom Stoppard and André Previn’s play for actors and orchestra - ‘Every Good Boy Deserves Favour’.
